We hope you have had a great start to the year, and hope you join us for the First Queer Open Mic of 2015! Holy crap that sounds like the fuuuuuuuuuuuuture!!!

So yes, the show is this Friday the 23, same queer time, same queer venue the trusty good ol Modern Times Bookstore in the heart of the Mission!

Please note that you have to be present to sing up. You cannot sign up someone else. You cannot give up your spot on the list. You do not choose when you go up. Signing up gives you 5 minutes to do one piece and one piece only, WE WILL CUT YOU OFF IF YOU GO OVER TIME. And please please please, rules aside, have fun and share and enjoy the queer space.

Irene Tu is a stand-up comic, writer, and performer from Chicago, now living in the Bay Area. Some have described her as “sarcastic” but she just tells it like it is. She has been in SF Sketchfest, Limestone Comedy Festival, Cape Fear Comedy Festival, She-Devil Comedy Festival, Chicago Women’s Funny Festival, and was a finalist in Rooftop Comedy’s National College Comedy Competition. She co-produces Laugh Function at Pappy’s in Berkeley every Saturday and a monthly comedy show at Bergeron’s Books in Oakland every 3rd Saturday of the month.
