About our March Feature: Kamala Puligandla is neither a cat nor a dog person and has a strict policy against cleaning up anyone else’s poop. She did, however, attend an environmental camp in 4th grade, and won an award for kissing the most banana slugs. Which should have been clue #973 that she was a dyke from the start. Things that have NOT been said about Kamala’s work include “Wow, that had a riveting plot,” and “You know, I think my mom would like that.” But, dear audience, there is still hope. She’s written for WriteClubSF, ShipWreck and other fun literary gatherings around the bay area.
