January 28th: Queer Open Mic with Alexander Crumbsnatcher

While the rest of the country contemplates the beginning of the 2011 between rounds of shoveling snow from their drive ways, we here can turn over our new leaves while admiring the leaves that are still where they belong: on the trees.

It’s one San Francisco’s many benefits; along with fantastic burritos, magnificent character, and some of the most fabulous thriftstore fashion in the world. In fact, there’s always something new in this old city; and the people are renewing themselves every day.

What will you do or be in San Francisco this year that you have never done or been before? Where will you go, what will you see, who will you love, how will you feel in this new decade that you have never been to, seen, loved or felt before?

The new millennium just became a pre-teen, with all of the drama and the vivacity that goes along with that. Let’s all be gushy and intense along with it, let’s give the era some company while it sorts through it’s hormonal first steps out.

Come to Queer Open Mic this month, share your resolutions, spill your guts.

We hear you.
