Born in the 50’s, gay slut since the 60’s, Kadam buddhist now, Horehound Stillpoint enjoys being an unknown poet and original-recipe punk rocker. His work has been taught at Harvard, caused controversy at a national poetry slam in the 90’s, been published in anthologies such as Poetry Nation; Bullets & Butterflies: Out in the Castro; I Do, I Don’t; Poetry Slam; Leathermen; Quickies; Tough Guys; Rough Stuff; Why Are Faggots So Afraid of Faggots? and Sex Spoken Here. He had sold-out plays 3 years running in the SF Fringe Festival, the last two years with a theater group called Daybreakers, where plays went from total non-existence to public performance in 24 hours. He’s the inspiration for a short piece of fantasy called Satyriasis by the truly witty Ian Philips, the cause of a fabulously bitter break-up piece by the uncompromising Justin Chin, and his nagging begging encouragement helped spur great writer Trebor Healey into publishing a book of real poetry, Sweet Son of Pan. The book of Horehound, apparently, is still in the works.

come check it out!! see you there!!
