June 27: The San Francisco Queer Open Mic featuring: MARGA GOMEZ and KAY NILSSON

June is always a crazy month in San Francisco, but we are so grateful for the great chaos, all of it. And we are very grateful at SFQOM for our features, our regular open mic folks, and the folks that come to just enjoy a good show. We are so thankful for you all.

This month’s show is very special to us, because the featured spoken word artist is an incredible young man, with so much heart, and talent, Kay Nilsson! And our other feature, Marga Gomez, is a legend. We are huge fans, huge, she is a big part of San Francisco and has been making the world laugh since the 80s, the art scene here would not be what it is without her. We are so incredibly excited that Marga Gomez is going to join us this June 27th!

Remember sign ups are at 7pm, sharp! List fills up fast so get there on time. But never fear, there is always an if we have time list. Signing up gets you 5 minutes to do 1 piece, and 1 piece only, we will stop you if you go over time.

The show is FREE, and is at the incredible Modern Times Bookstore on 24th Street. See you all there, and if we don’t, HAPPY PRIDE!
