July 25: The San Francisco Queer Open Mic featuring: SAMPSON MCCORMICK AND JULIAN SHENDELMAN!

Enjoying your summer, we sure are! Wear sun screen y’all and don’t forget to join us on the 25th of July, we have great features as always, and as always we cannot wait to see you there.

Remember sign ups are at 7pm, sharp! List fills up fast so get there on time. But never fear, there is always an if we have time list. Signing up gets you 5 minutes to do 1 piece, and 1 piece only, we will stop you if you go over time.
REMINDER: We sometimes are flexible with this rule, but if you sign up for the open mic, that means that you are signing up to be a part of the show, that means you stay for the whole thing.

Sam McCormick
Sampson is an internationally touring, award winning stand up comedian, writer and activist. For over a decade, he has been using humor to connect people of all backgrounds together and also enlighten, contributing to causes such as marriage equality, eradicating LGBT youth homelessness, and homophobia in churches, schools and entertainment, hate crimes on the street, and encouraging HIV prevention and awareness. He’s written two books, “Taboo Village”, and “Ebonic Faggotry”, recorded three live stand up comedy albums, and has worked with notable entertainers such as Danny Glover, Whoopi Goldberg, Paul Mooney, Patti LaBelle and Bruce Vilanch.


Julian Shendelman
Based in Oakland, California, Julian Shendelman is a 25 year old grad student, writer, wannabe artist, dog dad, and a highly stereotypical Libra. His work can be read at ashandbone.tumblr.com.
